This is a timely move given the recent census results showing that Mandarin is the second most spoken language in Australia today, surpassing Italian.
A major bank also recently declared that 30 per cent of its lendings are coming directly from Asian investors. “We have entered into a significant marketing relationship with key Chinese newspapers specialising in property with focus on closing the gap between mainstream and migrants,” said Ray White Joint Chairman Brian White. “Being able to service this sector of the market is crucial for our positioning as the go-to in this space,“ Mr White said.
